It is a very crucial branch of study as it directly related to the food security and economy of the country. In the area of agriculture extension, an effort has been made to retain relevant core concepts, however new topics and also new courses has been added to infuse new blood in the area. The sustainable use of land resources has emerged as the latest area of attention in the field of agriculture. Due to this change of trend of farming from traditional to modern form, the requirement for trained professionals in the field of agriculture has increased. The course is meant to provide the candidates with detail knowledge in the practices and techniques of farming and allied sectors.
