Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas is a government initiative that has been brought under the I4C scheme to raise cyber security awareness among public sector undertakings (PSUs), Universities, Colleges and Schools, etc. Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs that requires all organizations to spread cyber security awareness. It is observed on the first Wednesday of every month. The purpose is to create awareness and sensitize the Internet users on safeguarding against cyber frauds and cybercrimes.

· The slogans should be original, there should be no plagiarism or else that entry will be disqualified.
· The language shouldn't be offensive, the slogans must not hurt the sentiments of other people.
· The participants must note that the slogan must reflect the core theme: Countering Cyber-Attack and Cyber-Terrorism. Any inappropriate content would be liable for disqualification.
· The participants are requested to stick to the word limit of 30 words.
· The decision of the Jury/ Committee would be final and binding on all the participants and no clarifications would be issued to any participant regarding the decision taken.

Dr. J. S. Bal elected Vice-Chairperson, Division Horticulture for Human Health (DHEA) [ISHS]
Prof. (Dr) J. S. Bal Ph.D (Hort.) F.H.S.I. Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, SGGS World University, Fatehgarh Sahib is elected Vice-Chairperson, Division Horticulture for Human Health (DHEA) final result of the first voting round, International Society for Horticultural Science [ISHS], Leuven (Belgium). Earlier he served Punjab Agricultural University for 34 years and remained Professor and Head in 2009. Dr Bal has published 163 research papers, 134 technical articles and 24 book chapters. Developed 3 ber and 3 guava varieties/rootstocks andgiven 17 recommendations to growers. He has written/edited books in horticulture viz. Fruit Growing, Plant Growth Regulators in Fruit Science; Fruit Science Culture & Technology vol 1-4; Raising Fruit Nursery; Ber Varieties; Mulching in Ber Orchards; Post –harvest Handling of Fruits and Vegetables, etc which are very popular among students, growers, scientists and extension workers engaged in horticulture. Dr Bal has guided 19 M.Sc / Ph.D students as major advisor, 79 M.Sc/Ph.D students as minor advisor and presently guiding 8 post-graduate students in horticulture. Attended 2nd International Jujube Symposium at Xinzheng (China) in Sept. 2011and 3rd IJS at Brisbane (Australia) in August 2014 and presented keynote lectures and chaired sessions. Acted as a member of the International Scientific Committee ‘Jujube 2016 Workshop’ Bucharest, Romania and ‘XXX IHC (4th International Jujube Symposium)’ Istanbul, Turkey in August 2018.Delivered Lead lecture online in 5th IJS held at Baoding, China in Sept. 2021. Worked as member, editorial board Acta Horticulturae No. 993 and 1116 on jujube (ber).Dr. Bal has edited ‘The Horticultural Bulletin’ (English & vernacular) monthly for 7 years and ‘Horticulture Newsletter’ quarterly for 4 years for the benefit of fruit growers. Dr Bal is instrumental in revival of 450 years old historic ber plants at Golden Temple, Amritsar with 20 years of consistent care. He is a recipient of 3 national and 3 state awards/honours in the field of horticulture.

However, they will continue the education of the students through electronic or social media as per the earlier decision and from time to time send them notes, assignments, study material, lectures or tests.
2. Non-teaching staff: Non-teaching staff will also be on leave till 17-May-2020, but staff may be called on duty as required to keep the essential services running. Therefore, no staff member should leave his station without the approval of the competent authority so that he can be called to the University if required.
