  • Every year 40+ companies visit University for recruitments.
  • Maximum package offered is 13 l.p.a.
  • 15+ companies, on single day for various streams recruited more than 125 students, during Career Fair-2019 organised by University.
  • Students from colleges of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Rajasthan participated in the Mega Career Fair.
  • Special Personality Development classes are organised weekly by the Department of Training and Placement for the students, to improve their communication skills, body language, CV writing, etc. for better employment.
  • Guest Lectures, Workshops, Live Projects and Industrial visits are arranged to help the students to understand the business practices and also to experience the corporate environment.


Training and Placement Department plays an important role in shaping the careers of students from their induction and orientation, summer internships, mid-term projects, right to their final placements and even beyond. The Department locates job opportunities for students passing out from the University by keeping in touch with reputed Firms and Industrial Establishments. The number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously rising.

The objective of the department is to place all eligible students in reputed companies by identifying the knowledge skills, attitude matrices of individual student, creating job profiles for them, identifying areas of training and various methods as per the training requirement, formulate sequence of activities to meet the training schedules for appropriate placement. To achieve this, Department-T & P liaises with the various Industrial Establishments and Corporate Houses which conduct Campus Interviews and select students from all disciplines.



To improve employability and general awareness of students to industry requirements the Department organised Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Live Projects and Industry Visits are arranged to help the students understand the business practices and also experience the corporate environment.

Special Personality Development classes are organised by the Department of Training and Placement for the students to improve their communication skills, body language, CV writing, etc.
