The Central instrumentation Facility (CIF) at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University was established with effect from August 04, 2020 with wide notification number SGGSWU/Reg/0249. The CIF was established with the aim of having a Central facility in the University Campus to carry out high end testing which will be beneficial to research students (Ph.D. scholars) in their doctoral studies and Master/Bachelor level students doing research projects in the final year of their degrees.

AIM:

The CIF was established with the aim of having a central facility in the University Campus to carry out high end testing which will be beneficial to Ph.D. scholars and Master level students doing research projects

It is also established to provide Instrumentation facility to people from nearby institutes at nominal rates.

It was envisaged to have state of the art testing & characterization facility to cater to the high end testing needs of the industry, society as well as educational institutes at nominal charges.

It also runs training programmes in technical skills for the benefit of scientific community and associated laboratory staff from different institutions on request.
