"Empowering Digital Creativity and Hybrid Learning"

The Media Studio at the Department of English, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, provides access to state-of-the-art technology for the creation of digital projects. This facility is designed for filming live-action footage and photography. Managed by the Department of English, the studio supports an array of Media and Communication courses. Additionally, it is utilized for recording e-content and video lectures, facilitating hybrid learning in accordance with the NEP 2020. This fully functional studio is essential for recording the institute's events, capturing important guest lectures, interviewing visiting dignitaries, and producing various in-house videos.


To provide students with access to state-of-the-art technology for creating digital projects in the field of media and communication.

To serve as a space for filming live-action footage and photography, enabling students to develop practical skills in media production.

To support the Department of English in offering a variety of media and communication-related courses by providing a dedicated facility for hands-on learning.

To facilitate the recording of e-content and video lectures, aligning with the principles of hybrid learning as outlined in the National Education Policy 2020.

To contribute to the academic and promotional activities by recording institute events, guest lectures, interviews with visiting dignitaries, and producing in-house videos.


Ensure the availability and maintenance of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities within the English Media Studio-cum-Lab.

Offer training and support to students and faculty members on using the equipment and software for media production.

Collaborate with the Department of English to integrate media production into relevant courses and academic programs.

Develop guidelines and procedures for recording e-content, video lectures, and other media materials in line with educational objectives and standards.

Establish partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders to enhance the studio's resources and opportunities for students.

Evaluate the effectiveness of the studio's activities in supporting student learning outcomes and academic goals.

Promote the use of the studio as a resource for creativeexpression, academic research, and professionaldevelopment within the university community.

Benefit the students of English Literature who study Mass Media, and Journalism as their Core subject properly.
