The Department is committed to the advancement of knowledge that is socially and ethically relevant along with equipping the students for a wide range of careers especially in Academics, Civil Services, Armed forces, Banking, Social work and Journalism. The study programmes at the Department lead to qualifications that are stimulating to individuals' intellectual growth, and at the end of the day, will make our graduates marketable in their careers of choice, as well as making them responsible citizens
